Wednesday Morning Bible study is held from 9:30-10:30 am every Wednesday in the church basement. We are a group from different churches and communities who gather together around God’s Word to learn what lessons God has for us. Sometimes we study a person, topic, or book of the Bible; depending on where the Spirit leads. Each brings his or her own bible and we have open discussions about our various beliefs and interpretations; our joys and our sorrows. Many years ago, maybe as many as 50, Marj Rossing began this Bible study, and after her passing in 2011 I hesitantly became the leader while using Marj's teachings. The First Lutheran Church graciously supplies our secretarial needs and in turn, the group has a freewill offering which we then distribute to worthwhile projects, mostly with local connections. Confirmation Class is every Wednesday night from 6pm-7pm, this is not just for 7th and 8th graders, and it can also be for those who are older and haven't been confirmed or those who are looking for a refresher in the basics of Christian teaching.

Youth Group is open to all youth grades 6th to 12th, held from 7 pm-9 pm every Wednesday night. It’s not just for youth members but open to the community for everyone to join in.

Men's Bible Study & Fellowship meets every Saturday at the First Lutheran Church from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. We have been meeting for about 30 years and range from 6 to 15 men. We welcome any denominations, and we study different parts of the Bible. Our current study is Men of the Bible. We have great fellowship and prayer together. Encouraging each other for the week ahead.

Mary-Lois Circle these ladies met every fourth Tuesday of the month at 1:30 pm, weather permitting, in the church gathering room. Women of all ages are welcome to join us. Our afternoon includes a Bible Study suitable for all, a business meeting to discuss our mission goals & of course coffee time! Mary Lois Circle has a long history of service to Christ, First Lutheran, and to missions around the world. Please come join us!
